Graduated from Shirayuri University.
Since 1990, Mika Miyamoto has led “Salon de Grâce,” a culinary salon in Azabu, Tokyo, teaching French cuisine, pastry, and table coordination.
In 2014, the salon moved to the French restaurant Treffe Miyamoto in Roppongi.
She studied cuisine, pastry, table coordination, and the history of European dining culture in France at the Ritz Escoffier Culinary School, in Switzerland at the Richemont School of Confectionery, as well as in Austria, Italy, and other countries.
She also holds instructor qualifications in Western, Japanese, and Chinese table manners from the Japan Hospitality Association.

In each class, students prepare three French dishes — an hors d’oeuvre, a main dish, and a dessert — together in the restaurant kitchen, as well as one baked sweet to take home.
With the motto “serve warm dishes warm,” the class carefully teaches the proper order and process of cooking.
Both the cuisine and pastries are based on the classics and traditions of French cuisine, with Madame Miyamoto’s original touch added under the concept of “French cuisine made just a little more elegant.”
The salon also includes lectures on table coordination, covering topics such as glassware, cutlery, Japanese table manners, and the history of cuisine.
The curriculum is structured as a two-year cycle, with recipes provided each month.
